Vocalist
I started piano lessons at the age of three and I began writing my own (silly) songs very young. I've also played the guitar but piano has always been the instrument I truly feel my own besides singing. In the secondary school I joined my first band; we played rough grunge with 3 other girls. From that day on I have been in a band or actually in various bands, I feel that it’s a way of living. I have a master’s degree in arts and a bachelors degree in music pedagogy. I also studied singing in Copenhagen for three years.
Nowadays I work as a vocal teacher as well as a musician. I love all the weird noises that we can do with our voice and I enjoy exploring new stuff as well. I love music and I don’t really care which genre it is if it’s interesting. Emotion is by far the most important thing to me in music.
Being a singer is challenging in a good way.

Voice coaching
I´ve been working as a singing teacher since 2010. I started in the private sector and now I work as a full-time singing teacher at the conservatory of Jyväskylä. I have a master’s degree in arts and a bachelors degree in music pedagogy. I've also studied singing at the conservatory. After graduating I continued my singing studies in Copenhagen for three years.
I'm very passionate about my work and I wanna learn as much as possible about the human voice and all its possibilities.
Although I think that different techniques are important tools for teaching I don’t want to build my own teaching too strictly on them.
I've also done workshops in various subjects such as performance skills and effects (in singing) both in Finnish and English.
As a teacher my goal is to create a safe and a warm atmosphere; the perfect place for experimenting and development.
At the moment I can't take new singing students but I can give short courses in performance skills, voice technique and effects so feel free to ask for more!
Esiintymisvalmennus
Omien kokemusten myötä aloin tutustua esiintymisvalmennukseen sekä jännitykseen liittyviin asioihin. Nykyisessä työpaikassani olen saanut pitää esiintymisvalmennuksen kurssia muusikoille ja aihe onkin vienyt mukanaan. Kehitän valmennuksen kokonaisuutta koko ajan ja muokkaan sitä erilaisille kohderyhmille sopivaksi. Aihetta käsittelevien kurssien lisäksi olen tehnyt draamakasvatuksen sivuaineen yliopistossa. Esiintymisvalmennus sopii ihan kaikille, mutta erityisesti niille, joita esiintyminen jännittää tai heille, jotka kokevat, että omasta esiintymisestä puuttuu se viimeinen silaus.
